~My New Hp Sony Ericssion K810i Yipi!!! Thanks Deardear Muack!!!~

Went over to Plaza Singapura to get a new hp as my current hp abit "sortsort" liao hehe...

Me and deardear were looking at the range of hp deciding between Sony Ericsson K810i, the Samaung two sided phone and the newest LG shine.

The Samsumg phone is so cool 2 sided screen and button hehe but I guess the sms screen is too small to see only 2 lines.

The LG Shine is really classic and beautiful with the whole phone being shinning silver color and made of aluminium... its so call "unscratchable" but I guess the colors of the screen is still not as sharp.

After much consideration, decided to get the Sony Ericssion K810i due to the camera features.

So me and deardear took a queue no (7208) if I am not wrong and we went for dinner....haha lucky we smart go for dinner as hor after our dinner of 1 hour plus it just passed our turn by 1 hehe....

Thanks deardear for buying the hp for me (PS to Jason deardear:I love u so much hehe muack!!!)

Btw the hp I bought is abit sort sort cause when I haven even message any message out it registered that 1 mgs is being sent out....mm...I wonder did the starhub people give me a used hp and all the components in the hp box are not seal up all the packages are stick by scotchtape....anyone bought a similiar hp like??? Or I am jus being paranoid?

And ya the hp also hang after I plugged the USB port out of the pc after doing pc file transfer.... is that the case for a new sony ericsson hp....

Maybe I should go down to starhub tml and reflect it to them....

~NDP 2007 at Marina Bay!!!~

Now at national libaray accompany my deardear.... poor him have to study and teeth pain some more cause he just went to the dentist this morning as his one of his teeth chip think bite something hard....haiz.... poor thing....teeth bleeding still have to study for exams haiz....

Ya this is me hehe nothing to do at the library so using my laptop for blogging loh.... hehe ya here are some of the photos I took during the NDP preview the Sat 1 week before the actual day (haha cause i forgot the date liao)....

Ya wanna say thanks to deardear's brother Andy that every year we get to go to the National Day Parade or the preview as he is in some RC committee or something. (Yes heard that this year tickets are really hard to get!!!)

Yes we were quite late for the NDP show as I didn’t expect that it will start so early this year. But we were lucky that the queue to go inside the sitting area wasn’t that long.

However, we still ended up sitting at the back row near the side.... though the view is not as good but it wasn’t too bad either as it is more spacious and we got to change seats as the person beside me...it occupying 1 and 1/2 seat and that half belong to me????

Started my job search process since 14 Jun….send countless amount of resume to countless company…..

Jobs Interviews that I went, the job offers that I had and job offers that I rejected…too many till I don’t remember….let me try to recall

1. Mediterance Shipping— Account Executive (this is a big company, but cant handle the job scope)

2. Klandee— Operation Executive (this company offer really good pay and benefits but it’s a really small company)

3. Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society—Communication PR Executive (good job, good prospect, good exposure but lower pay (but I can understand cause charity ma…pay suppose to be low…)

4. MEP system—Sales Engineer (good pay, good prospect but hard job due to onsite to the ship…suitable for guy though)

5. HSBC—Personal Financial Consultant (no basic pay, have to sell insurance maybe I not that aggressive)

6. HSBC—Call centre Primer Client (high pay, good prospect but shift work)

6. UOB—Personal Banker (basic pay good and after probation very good but have to sell insurance 50% of the time and sign bond)

7. First Principle Financial—Financial Planner (Sell income shield…Maybe consider as part-time job)

8. Citispa— Marketing Executive (Very good job exposure, good stepping stone for future career but low pay and long job hours for me)

9. DSTAR— Procument Executive (Scary interview didn’t manage to get in)

10. ASTAR— Administrative Research Officer (Good job. Scary interview as well, didn’t manage to get in)

Job searching is tiring. I dun wan to keep going for interviews and rejecting jobs……
Why is it so difficult to find a 9-5 job that pays $2500 for a company with more than 30 workers that require no night shit work/ 24hr standby or insurance......

Interview until sian…search job until sian… hope to get a job soon….

~NTU Convocation Photos (26th July 2007 2pm)~

Haha...convocation a memorable moment hehe kinda make me reflect alot of my ntu life...the tutorials and lecturers where I am always late, the hostel which is full of dust and insects, the photocopy shop where I always buy tutorial solutions from and the study area/cits where I study during break times....

My convocation for EEE is on 26th July 2007 afternoon session 2pm...mm...kinda sad as most of my fren are in the morning session.

My whole family went early at 1pm to get the extra tickets for the convocaton as the school only give out 2 tickets and I need 2 more for my bf and sister.

Deardear bought a Me-To-You graduation theme bear for me and my sister bought flowers (sun flowers) for me from ntu wow so expensive 40plus dollars.

While my parents and sister are queue I went to take a few pictures here and there haha with my friends.

~National Stadium Closing Down Ceremony~

Well with all the ongoing news of the NDP 2007 at marina bay...mm... let us have a last recap of our national stadium which have been with us for so many years....which have seen us grown from a small nation to a world recognised country....which have accompanied us since our childhood years to now...

Irritating STAR number 2: The Mad Rusher
To Mad Rusher:
The mrt is fully pack with people, please…people haven get out of the train how can you even get in…for goodness sake the mrt will wait for you to get in before it leave. Even if you get in the train faster, you will still not reach your destination faster as well….the mrt have a schedule to keep.

Can you imagine, irritating people like them had caused me to unable to get down the stupid train at my desired stop?


Irritating STAR number 3: The Kisser muack…muack…muack…
To The kisser:
Well you like kissing huh??? Please keep your RA scenes at home… there are kids on the train. Ya another point to add… you like to kiss and hug….fine!!! But please keep to your distance, don’t kiss and hug so intensely that you lost your balance and knock onto people??? You are not in a movie setting please, it’s not romantic and neither do you look like movies stars…..


Irritating STAR number 4: The Walking RadioMan

You know what??? Your music sucks ok!!! Oh ya your hand phone stereo sucks as well ok.
Please what are you trying to show off about???? Mm… lets me guess you have a speaker phone???? For goodness sake who don’t have a speaker hand phone nowadays??? Ya a little advice for you…bring a real stereo set next time ok.

Irritating STAR number 5: The Smelly Man
Have u guys even wonder why people can don’t bath for few days and yet walk around in the public??? Don’t they realize that they stink??? (I am being very fair here…I do not refer to construction worker/ people who work at the wholesaler/ market area…but I mean normal people who didn’t behave like one.)

Ok MR Smelly Man if you are smelly and you like being smelly fine!!!! But don’t you feel caution when you are taking public transport….if you are smelly don’t sit beside others. You like the smell but don’t mean others like that…..we are civilized people who bathe everyday ok???

Point no 2….if u r smelly and you still insist to sit beside me fine….please keep yourself to your seat don’t come over to mine side. Well don’t know if I am over-reacting, Mr Smelly Man had caused me to not dare to sit at the seats of the mrt or buses.

~Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix Review~



Saw the show Harry Potter on Sat, well its was ok.... but not as gd as I expected.

Storyline:
Harry Potter had a new screenwriter Michael Goldenberg, I dun really like his style of writing as compared to the previous screenwriter Steve Kloves. The storyline is very slip-short bearly touching the whole story of the book. Alot of nice details from the book is cut off...though the main content of the book is still potray in the movie. Not much character development though.

Directing:
This Harry Potter series also had a new director David Yates.....well maybe I dun really like his directing as well....cause the way the movie is shown....people who dun really read the Harry Potter books will not be able to get the grasp of the story. I cant believe that they choose someone with not much directing experience in movies as a director for such a big hit??? Yes David Yates is a great director for drama... but I guess drama and movie are different. In drama one can afford to drag the content but in movies u cant, thus these may be the reasons why the story is so slip-short as maybe he cant concise all the parts into a 2 hour film.

The movie just touch and go on the contents, no details is provided. Examples, Cho jealously against Hermione, how harry gets supporters for his Dumbledore's Army operation. The scenes are jumpng around being cut off at times. Kinda disappointng that he assumed people had already read the story and still remember the details???

Effects:
The effects are still good similiar to the last movie. But..mm... dun noe if I am the only one who feel this.... the last part where Dumbledore fights with Voldemort the effects are like some 80s technologies where the powers emitted from the wands are like electric sparks haha... And ya no big effect though...no more beautiful floating candles or floating ghost etc....in whole the effects details in the whole movie are not well covered.

Mm...kinda disappointing..ya hopefully, the next movie Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince will be better as Steve Kloves the screen writer for the first four movie will be back and hopefully director David Yates will do better the next time round for the movie.

Jessica is so pretty AAHHHH!!! hehe... simple and short storyline....nt as a big hit as i expected.... but at least it a happy ending...

Much better then I expected... with a touch of humor...I like it better than the previous 2 part.

Death Proof:
Some stupid idiotic show similar to Borat but in a more boring sense....in fact the whole show is just on conversation with only less then 15min of actions... but it had a weird and unexpected funny ending though.....u wont even expect the show to end and they put the word "THE END"....??????

Looking forward for the show transformer hope that it will be better.... ya btw I hv this picture of a robotic size pic of transformer but haiz... think it is lost together with all the photos i lost during my pc crash last month....mm...if i find it i will post it up later...

Ate dim sum lunch with mum at mirama hotel on mon....food is good and cheap as well hehe... $10+++ per pax for lunch. Get to hv a variety of dim sum, dessert and other chinese dishes as well.

Ya went to dye my hair yesterday at reds PS branch..... Heard lots of complain about reds but surpirsingly I feel that it is good a not bad color quite nice, abit brownish with abit of ash color. Service is good as well its the few salon that will keep refilling ur tea haha...





Went for few job interviews and lots of job agencies with Rachel haha...its like I am seeing her almost everyday hehe...

This is a strange agent cause I went interview and they willing to pay me 2.5 as basic pay....aside fr other that hv no basic pay but...i still considering deep.... it going to be a irritating and difficult job...

An IRRITATING STUPID JOB AGENT cant remember his name...keep intro and push me stupid jobs :

Number 1: Pay 2.6k, MNC company, location tuas so far!!! and but must travel 60% of the time to indonesia, china and india!!! and he say must wk lots of OT and OT pay $10/hr????
I reject the job and the stupid agent say dun be choossy pay so high.
I was thinking "excuse me mus travel and no allowance and u still think pay high??? And OT pay is 0.75X I only hear OT pay 1.5X or none where got OT pay lesser than normal pay??? "

Number 2: This is more irritating, temp job pay $1800
I reject the job and the agent say "wow temp job pay so high $1800 u also reject u think u first class honors ah"
I was thining "R u mad I looking for perm job, nt temp in the first place!!! And ok I dun hv 1st class honor... but u think other honor so easy to get is it...and which stupid 1st class honor student will take $1800 pay....maybe he come fr univeristy of dumbo and shit"

Number 3: This is most irritating!!! pay 2.3k, network engineer, MNC company but need to be 24hr standby.

I reject the job and the agent state oh ur honor not 1st class dun expect such a high pay....and u fresh grad u noe 2.3k as engineer is very high liao.
I was thinking "fresh grad not equal to stupid ok!!! NTU fresh engineering grad lowest pay maybe 2.3k -2.4k but dun need 24hr standby!!! And stop saying I not first class honors ok, like as if u r a 1st class honor, if u r u dun need to be in a recruitment agency liao u can earn big buck in MNC.... u think honor so easy to get...maybe u not a grad or u hv low expectation or jus plain stupid... I can understand but dun expect me to be as stupid as u and force me to be like u???"

Meet up with the ice skating gang last sat at city hall mrt...Its a long time since the previous outing!!! Wait at city hall Mos Burger for all to arrive which we talk about out career prospect and the overseas trip we went. Huiying and Shiyun went to US for 1 month!!! wow...that must be really really fun...Jennifer went to Hokkaido with her parent for 2 week...mm... guess the shortest trip is me and deardear who went tokyo for 1 week.

We went over to clarke quay for dinner after which where Rachel left us to meet her bf at serangoon.

We wanted to go to clinic for dinner however when the food there was more expensive then we expected. (The only serve set dinner at $100plus per person)... to eat at this price is crazy.... I sincerely dun think their restuarant upstairs will last for long.

For $100plus per pax can go Fullenton 's Town or Riz Carlten 's Greenhouse for dinner and still have money left for dessert. (Cause thats the price of some lower end fine dinning restuarant??? or some valentine / christmas eve dinner or somethi but I sincerely dun think clinic is suitable for couple cause its theme is not romance but more of fren ouing about fun etc and fren outing no one will pay 100plus for a normal set dinner as compare to couples.)

We walk around clarke quay and settled at the pump room (mircobrewery) for dinner. I hv went there more than once...nice enviroment... life band and disco as well after 10pm... However half of the resturant/pub is book that day thus we didnt get to see the life band.

Ya the tittle says it all....

Well I am actually quite glad that I manage to grad in time as really didnt do well in year 2 that cause me to repeat quite a few no. of subjects.... nevertheless all the hardwork in year 4 have finally paid off I am taking like the full max AU load for year 4 sem 1 together with my fyp that is damn "xiong" loh... second sem was better but still taking 3 more subject than others...

However I am very proud of myself hehe... cause despite all the extra workload.. I still manage to get 4 A this sem hhaha and still manage to get an Honors hehe....

Ya will be looking for a job starting form this week...going down to international plaza job agencies later on today with my fren Rachel. Finally can start looking for job as my stupid PC is down for 1 month ya 1 ENTIRE MONTH!!!

Ya will be trying to post some updates later on this week... still doing the data recovery thingy for my pc...all my pictures/ data etc all gone... and the last backup I done is almost 1 yr ago lost alot of pic etc...haiz..... :(
